All Things Collective Soul

My first Collective Soul cd experience came, from all places, the library. Found the "Self-Titled" disc in the limited stack to choose from. Put it in my player and it didn't come out again until I had to return it. Played that cd from start to finish every time. Each song melding into the next perfectly arranged. I have tons of music but not one that I play from start to finish without skipping over songs. Of course, I had to purchase this after hogging it for six weeks. Wanted to put it back in the library so others could find the magic.

Next I came across "7even Year Itch" at a big box store. In the cart it went and another gem was added to my collection. I felt like I had been hiding under a rock having not known about this band and what I had been missing out on.

Caught their "Home" video on Direct TV's T101 channel and had my first glimpse of the guys. Wow, cute too!!! I came in somewhere in the middle of it and thought "hey Ed you need to comb your hair". It was playing back to back so I watched it again. I apologize Ed for thinking that because your hair started out fine. All of that energy coming out of that performance now makes my hair look like it needs combed after I watch it too since I now own the dvd. I watch it over and over from start to finish.

I now own all of their cd's. My ipod has all of their videos available on itunes.

When I checked out their tour schedule, they were playing casinos in Canada. A little far since I live in Florida. As chance would have it not but days later I saw an ad for Universal Studios Mardi Gras and guess what band was on their concert schedule? Yep, COLLECTIVE SOUL!!! Guess who was there!?! It was the best concert I've ever been to and I've been to a lot. The energy from the crowd was extremely high and everyone sang along. My ticket for their next Orlando concert is displayed on the front of my refrigerator. Anticipation is great since it is only a month away. Can't wait!!! Here is their schedule of tour dates so you can get your ticket too http://www.collectivesoul.com/live/. Or check out all things Collective Soul at: http://www.collectivesoul.com/news/

Never thought at this age I would become a groupie but I must admit I would have to be classified as one. You know you're a groupie when you can't wait to look at their twitter page, http://www.twitter.com/collective_soul, to see what they have to say or what picture they will post today, or maybe there is a new webisode.

This band is so impressive in that they love and honor their fans as much as we love and honor them. They have truly and deservedly achieved success.
